Email to Commonwealth Ombudsman re s44.1 breach Reply included!

Dear Sir /Madam,
I wish to formally complain that the Prime Minister refuses to respond to allegations he has lied to the AEC in relation to his dual citizen status. Not only has he failed to provide renouncement documents. An FOI search has also stated from his office that these documents do not exist. Also adding credence to our belief that he is in breach, Peta Credlin has interfered I two previous FOI requests. Letters have been sent to the Attorney General Mr Brandis, requesting that this crime be investigated and the documents are tabled in the House of Representatives.Ignoring a crime is an offence in itself. In 4 months we have not had a response from Mr Brandis Mr Keenan Mr Dreyfus Mr Shorten Mr Thomson they are all in our eyes complicit in their apathy.
If Tony Abbott has made false declarations to the AEC to run for parliament then his earnings and entitlements are proceeds of crime. His 20-year political career has no foundation. The Australian Constitution is and should be the foundation of Australian politics and adherence to its laws isn't optional and must be enforced. We have over 23,000 signatures on change.org of Australian voters wanting this matter addressed.

                                                                                                                                 regards Mark Dickenson

Dear Mr Dickenson

Thank you for your enquiry of 15 December 2014.

It may be useful to note that the Commonwealth Ombudsman investigates complaints about the administrative actions of Australian Government agencies (that is ‘Federal’ or ‘Commonwealth’ Government agencies). We examine the process of administrative decision making to determine if an agency is following its policies and procedures correctly.

I must advise that based on your communication I am unable to identify a complaint that falls within the jurisdiction of the Commonwealth Ombudsman, as the Ombudsman does not have jurisdiction regarding the actions of elected Members of Parliament (Federal or State).

If you have concerns regarding a the Prime Minister’s lack of response, I suggest that you may wish to seek some independent legal advice.

You can view our Service Charter and our brochure ‘Making a complaint to the Ombudsman’ which explains the role of the Ombudsman’s office in more detail on our website at www.ombudsman.gov.au.

The Abbott sham.

I thought perhaps naively that the article published in Pravda yesterday may be a tipping point. That this article would force Abbott to respond. That it would force all the politicians and reporters to act on the information in front of them.
It appears to be not enough on both counts. Not because the story has no credibility. Nor is it because the reporters have more important issues to run. The reality is that all parties approached simply don't want to rock the boat. They wish to maintain the status quo. They are about to become embroiled in one of the greatest scandals in the history of global politics. They have ignored emails and letters. They have through their apathy enabled the Abbott lie to continue unfettered.
It should only be Abbott himself that faces the music over this. It was him who chose to lie to the electoral commission. It was him who chose to run for parliament knowing he was ineligible. It has been him who has continued on his path knowing that he has not truthfully answered questions on this topic.
Why do we know Abbott is lying. It's in his pathology. It's also supported by the protection he has been afforded by Peta Credlin during 2 FOI requests. The failure to respond to the request for enquiries by Mr Brandis Michael Keenan and Peter Cosgrove also supports our belief. Then there are the documents. We have a response to a search from the Prime Ministers office that says no renouncement papers found. We know Abbott had dual citizen status to enable his scholarships. He gained entry to Oxford via his UK citizenship. He has been shielded from the fallout this story should receive, via his party and the association that exists between Murdoch and the media he controls.
I cannot explain why Mr Dreyfus has failed to table the documents in parliament, nor can I explain my local MP's failure Mr Thomson. While I haven't written to Mr Shorten I know he has also been aware of this issue via social media for some time.Whatever the reason none of them have acted in our interests and done their job in relation to this serious matter. All of them have sat on their hands.

We shouldn't have to go to the trouble of making an application to the High Court of Australia to have this matter dealt with, yet that appears to be where this matter is heading. Abbott will face justice. The Australian voter should be entitled to be represented by eligible people.

Politician's should not be beholden to anybody. Federal ICAC

It is blatantly obvious with a little research our politicians are tied by their allegiance to their political parties. But closer inspection uncovers something far more insidious. They are indebted to their political donors or sponsors. The ALP has similar allegiances to the Trade Union movement. The ties are so strong on both sides that the concerns of the general public their employer are only on their radars around election time.

I believe the reticence of parliament to have a federal ICAC are premised on self-preservation and maintaining the status quo. The stark reality is if federal ICAC was given powers, at least, equivalent to the NSW version preferably unlimited, the exposed corruption would see more than 50% of our politicians jailed. From things like travel rorts, misappropriation of allowances, the disclosure of information for financial advantage and the formulation of policy in return for donations. It would also see donors exposed for gaining financial advantage via corruption.

Politicians protecting one another through self-preservation. The events in NSW parliament are a clear indication of the extent of corruption and it has taken an independent umpire acting in the interest of political probity to expose the issue.

As a voter, I would entertain voting for a party that had no reliance on business or Unions for funding or an independent who is committed to acting in the interests of voters who employed him or her. It isn't happening at the moment the stark reality is we couldn't be further from their minds.

Fans venting misguided.

Everyones entitled to their own opinions and observations on Liverpool's performance. The failure to get the points against Hull yesterday is an opportunity lost. The opportunities to close out the fixture were there, the players failed to find a way.

Balotelli fresh from the Real Madrid fixture where he was heavily criticised for swapping shirts at half time seems to be the whipping boy. He isn't playing bad football,he's getting into great positions during matches. He is not executing well and I'm sure he would be the first to admit it. He just needs a bit of luck and I'm sure he will find his mojo. Fans venting their frustration at him are probably denting his confidence and detrimental to the teams aspirations.

All is not lost encourage the team. They clearly miss Sturridge yet they were clearly the better side in last nights fixture. Balotelli was far from the worst player. Get around him the goals will come.

Politics of change

Good government in Australia seems like a distant memory. When I have nothing better on offer, I tune into question time and often turn off and choose something less mundane to fill the hours. I vaguely remember a time when politicians could inspire with their words and actions. It seems poignant I write this now after the death this week of Gough Whitlam. A man who probably modelled the qualities I've just mentioned.

I am a founding member of the Australian Progressives. I believe in the philosophy that policies should be driven by and created for the benefit of the voter. Apart from big business and the elite we all pay our way in Australia.Loopholes and creative accounting sees the ones that take most from our Country pay the least.I envisage this needs to be addressed either via legislation or investigation or a combination of both.

I'd like to see political advertising reduced as it sees millions of dollars siphoned out of our taxes, with very little purpose except self-promotion. Presently all we are getting from our politicians is excuses and refusals. History tells us that we can fund everything with the taxes currently imposed. If we can sort out the dodgers and stop the rorts there is another area we gain.

Personally, I am an advocate for disability cystic fibrosis and aged care.I'm passionate about these things through personal experiences. The injustice the suffering the anguish that these communities experience within our broader community is what drives me to fight.

In a broader sense, I believe that Australia needs a new direction. We need to become less reliant on others and drive the country forward carving out our own profile globally. I would vote to become a republic, at the drop of a hat given the opportunity. I would give the US a timeline for the closure of Pine Gap. I would still maintain an alliance with the US but would only commit to conflicts that are based on sound arguments.I believe we have too many issues at home to be focussing on other nations problems, to the extent we have in recent years.Usually at a huge cost to our domestic policy.

It needs to be a priority to educate our population properly and I believe our nation should be able to fund this through the tax reforms previously mentioned. Our talent is critical to our future.

We must get on board with research and implementation of renewable energy. We must encourage business to focus on lowering their reliance on fossil fuels.

I believe in the talent we have in Australia. Investment in research should provide new ventures creating new jobs.We should further explore the development of our country as a leading tourism destination. We should develop infrastructure to meet the requirements of our population growth. Minimising lost time, that currently adversely affects GDP across our nation should be a priority.

I would like to see the leaders of big Corporations that currently pay themselves exorbitant salaries and bonuses often to the detriment of the many to change their mindset. They should act in the interests of their employees and their stakeholders.

Aborigines should, no must be recognised as a significant part of our culture. The issues they face in health employment welfare should all be aggressively workshopped with all stakeholders involved. They should be represented in our parliament. It is in our nation's interest that our parliament is more representative of our community.

I find it embarrassing how many homeless we have in Australia. Current numbers are just over 105,000.This doesn't get enough attention and strategies to re-engage these people and assist them in finding dwellings. Many are kids from broken homes living on the streets, sleeping under bridges on park benches in laneways exposed to the elements. Irrespective of their age they must be on the agenda.

Letter to Kelvin Thomson member for Wills regards PMs s44.1 breach

Dear Kelvin,
For several months now myself and Tony Magrathea have been writing to politicians with no response. It is apparent after a recent FOI search conducted by the PM's office that the PM has nothing at hand to verify his renunciation. His word just doesn't suffice with his chequered history regards honesty and political probity. The fact that Peta Credlin interfered in two prior FOI requests only adds to our belief that Mr Abbott is in breach of s44.1 of the Australian Constitution. This is not a "birther" issue it is based on the importance of our Constitution and the respect our political representatives must adhere to.It is clear to us that Mr Abbott has supplied false information to the AEC and has been illegally standing for election for the duration of his 20 years in politics.I want to be clear we have written to the following politicians in the hope that someone will vote with us on the side of probity. Mr Brandis Mr Dreyfus Mr Keenan The Governor General Sir Peter Cosgrove. We are yet to even receive a response to what I regard as an issue that is a blight on our Nation and the integrity of Australian politics. Please do not force us to make an application to the High Court to resolve this issue. We have some 17,000 signatures requesting this issue be addressed without advertising. This email will be posted to my blog.Should you choose the course of integrity that others have not we can supply documents to be tabled in parliament.

Anfield should embrace winning ugly.

True the team isn't playing well and last nights victory was a result of some pretty ordinary football. Many hostile recriminations followed the game. Many attacking Rogers Balotelli and Mignolet.

Rodgers copping it because he recruits so far over the past two years haven't set the world on fire. One blogger wrote that 200 million had been spent with a 17% success rate. I find this inaccurate as the teams of the past wouldn't have won.Great teams find a way to get the points.Bank them and don't look back. The playing group will band together and the belief will grow as the wins are put away.

No doubt Balotelli hasn't played well to date for Liverpool. If Rodgers can continue to believe Balotelli will deliver. Last night he missed one Nana would have gobbled up,yet Nana wouldn't have created such a chance. Balotelli is a confidence player he needs support he needs to believe he just needs to put one in the net and he will flourish.

Mignolet is as good or as ordinary as the support he gets from his defensive group. After a shaky start I thought he was pretty good in goals for most of the night.Like the team he needs to work hard to understand his defenders. He needs to concentrate and read the play. Not getting caught out of position is critical as is anticipation for the goal keeper.

Personally I am buoyed by the win last night in past seasons we walked away with nothing from performances of similar ilk. Well done to the boys for grinding out a win when it seemed forlorn. Supporters should stick fat with this group, I'm sure they can deliver.

#ClimateChange Ignorance isn't always bliss

Sure we do get rhetoric from our political representatives. We get airy-fairy commitments into the future. When we know only to well they will be gone and they cannot control, the commitments they make after they've left office. Our planet is finite. The future is not guaranteed. The world is like our bodies. If we mistreat it we will reduce life expectancy.Much of the damage currently being done to the planet in the name of progress/capitalism cannot be reversed. We must take heed to the warnings the planet is issuing. The reduction in polar ice caps.Rising sea levels.Changes in tidal patterns.More extreme weather events both in frequency and in consequence. The reduction in air quality in and around major cities.Record temperatures rising. These are all signals our planet is issuing to us we cannot ignore.

It's just not good enough to make minimal effort. We must explore alternative energies with lesser impacts on our environment. It isn't someone else's problem. We are all stakeholders. We should be making better use of our natural resources.Solar, Wind, rainfall should all be utilised better.Business should be given incentives to reduce consumption of detrimental fuel and energy sources. Scientific research should be encouraged through investment from governments.Targets should be short term and achievable. We can't keep pushing it back the way governments are through targets set 30 to 50 years in the future. All this does is placate anger and preserves bad behaviors present day.

The fish rots from the head #federalicacnow

Anyone paying attention to the events unfolding before us at NSW ICAC enquiry will be aware that it has uncovered corruption in politics.Naive as the LNP believe the public is.It cannot brush this off in the shower. Emails to the PM's office are yet to be explained.Probably because there is no rational way of explaining them. There is an old saying "the fish rots from the head" which supports the fact that when corruption is rife in an organisation it starts and is generally enabled from the heads of the organisation.

I have witnessed corruption first hand while working for the former RBA subsidiary Securency International. My experiences there reinforce my belief in the fish analogy.

Both Peta Credlin and Tony Abbott must explain the email exchanges and the knowledge of donations relating to evidence already presented at the ICAC hearings. Political probity must be sought as we cannot allow organisations to buy political favours via donations. Corruption must be uncovered exposed and annihilated as shown by the NSW resignations relating to this affair. If it isn't eradicated it spreads like a wildfire. The reality unfortunate as it is "money makes the world go round."

Email to Governor General Peter Cosgrove re s44.1 breach

Dear Mr Cosgrove,
I am writing to you as the Queens representative in Australia to request the Prime Minister produce renouncement papers or resign from his office effective immediately. An FOI request response from Mr Abbott's office shows no documents exist. This means he is in breach of the Australian Constitution and is not eligible to run for or be in parliament. He must have filed forms with the AEC in 1994 and if he is a dual citizen the information supplied is false.I am disappointed I have had to write to you regards this matter. I have written to Mr Brandis and had no response in 2 months. The Attorney general obviously doesn't respect the Australian Constitution, otherwise, he would have enforced it.I am including this email in my blog as I believe it is in the public's interest to be aware of the Prime Ministers lack of regard for political probity and our nation's Constitution.

                                                                                     regards Mark Dickenson

This was sent via email 14/10/2014. The Governor General obviously doesn't think Australia's constitution is a significant document. I say this because he didn't even bother to respond. MP's & Ministers alike have also ignored this issue. Our standards are not up to scratch in Australian politics.

Freedom should be off limits!

My Great Grand Father fought for freedom in WWI. Pop would not like it that the very freedom he fought for.The freedom that many of his mates died for. Can be attacked and eroded by people with no mandate or right to do so.
Several weeks ago due to a perceived escalation in the threat of terrorism. Our politicians passed legislation that attacks freedom of speech. It restrains public awareness through controls ordered on our media. A media that has already been corrupted, through the lack of diversity in ownership in our great nation.
Australians have every right to be angry and disillusioned by our politicians and their actions. They have not shown any respect for our fallen soldiers or us, by rushing this legislation through Parliament. The LNP through their policies have shown they have no concern or empathy with the public.Their only allegiance is to themselves and their benefactors in the stratosphere of society. But what of the champions of the minions the ALP.They collectively stood and watched as this legislation was passed. Voting it through the lower house and Senate as if it was an insignificant issue with amazing disdain for the public. Anthony Albonese did after voting for it later question it which is damning of him. Did he not read the legislation prior to endorsing it?
My pop is long gone as is some of that freedom he fought so bravely for. It is an indictment on our politicians that they could get something so important so wrong.Australia needs fresh talent with new ideas in our parliament.People that create.People that initiate. People that look at a problem and have or will seek the talent to solve it. Currently auspol is devoid of this talent. It is a vacuous wasteland.

letter to Mr Dreyfus regard s44.1 breach

Dear Mr Dreyfus

It has come to my attention that the Prime Minister may be in breach of s44.1 of the Australian Constitution. I have documents from an FOI request stating that no records of renouncement were found. I have written to you and Mr Brandis a few times.I am also aware that Mr Brandis received a request from Tony Magrathea over 2 months ago with no response. Political probity should be enforced particularly by the Attorney General.I would like this to be tabled in parliament and the Prime Minister should be forced to produce the document or be dismissed. If he fails to produce renouncement papers he has provided misleading information and is ineligible to be in parliament.I imagine it is a pretty serious offence to provide the AEC with false information. I know it is serious to breach our Constitution.
This is a link to the FOI documents from PM's office. If you are unable to open my email address is listed above.

Tony Abbott must be sacked & prosecuted!

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B42C_wWg31otWnE4Z0dtVEZpYzA/view?usp=sharing …

Thanks to some fantastic work by Tony Magrathea it is clear that Tony Abbott is and has been in breach of the Constitution s44 for his entire political career. The link above is an FOI search for the renouncement papers that would have existed had our Prime Minister complied with the constitution. It also means that he has supplied false or misleading information to run for office in Australia.
Tony Abbott must be sacked or stood down until this is investigated.Mr Abbott and members of his staff have interfered, delaying this from being public knowledge. It has also been covered up by many politicians from various parties including both the Attorney General and the Shadow Attorney General.
During the months that we have been seeking to prove Mr Abbott is in breach of s44 at any time, either he or his office could have produced the documents clearing his name.He is elusive, evasive and consistent to his lack of political probity lying appears to be a way of life.

How low can Joe go?#auspol limbo

There is something intrinsically wrong with Joe Hockey. He preaches restraint.Yet any opportunity for him to take from taxpayers he does. In his first budget he has slashed funding to many minorities that can little afford to live already.Joe wouldn't know this because he leads a privileged life full of excesses.
Joe Hockey is reportedly taking his allowance and handing it to his wife who is the majority owner of a family property worth around 1.5 million dollars. Not only is this not disputed by Joe,he says that it's ok as others are doing it as well. The purpose of the allowance is to meet the costs of staying away from home.I believe if there is no cost to Mr Hockey, then he is effectively stealing from taxpayers. I and many others view an allowance not as a right it is a privilege and shouldn't  be exploited.
Joe Hockey should be sacked for this.He should be forced to repay any money. He cannot justify the expenditure of in relation to this allowance. If as he says others are rorting the system. They should face the same consequences. I would like a federal icac to be established to stamp out this type of behavior. To raise the integrity and probity that is absent from parliament at present.

#auspol is filthy it must be fixed.

I cannot believe the sordid state of Australian politics.Events in NSW are just the tip of the iceberg. It is blatantly clear that political donors are getting favorable legislation passed. They are getting tax breaks and incentives.Often these relationships are clandestine. Some are that obvious it's laughable.Except for the fact,
there is only so much revenue and someone has to pay. It's not just donors. The Trade Union movement has relationships that also have leverage, although this is less blatant it does exist.

The thing that really gets on my goat is the abuse of travel and the rorting of allowances. Joe Hockey using his $270 a night allowance to sleep at a family owned home. This is obscene. It needs to be investigated thoroughly.Joe's excuse is others are doing the same.I want them all exposed no matter who they represent. There are many Australians every night sleeping under bridges and in laneways. While these repugnant imbeciles are thieving and we are forced to watch. Watch as they misuse and abuse their privilege.

Travel sometimes necessary, must be monitored and justified with intense scrutiny. Not like Mr Pyne uses it cavorting around Europe like he's Chevy Chase. What case he can mount to defend his extravagance I don't trust. As he has a record second only to his boss for gilding the lily.

Auspol needs cleaning and sanitising. A Federal ICAC is the answer it should also be ratified in the states that don't have a genuine anti corruption outfit with the skills and desire to purge politics of corruption.

If we find people at any level acting outside the law they must be pilloried. Earnings from corruption must be viewed as proceeds of crime. If mining licences have be granted illegally we should pursue it. All political donors should be scrutinised. Phone records between ministers and donors should also be of interest. Unless we clean the decks completely,we all deserve what we are being served at the moment.

The money that is being misused now is the money that once funded our infrastructure. A lot of our infrastructure has been sold off.History says it didn't have to be that way.Much of it has I'm sure been done to favor big business not in our interest as we've been led to believe.

Education critical not a burden.

Education is probably one of the most significant issues being neglected by our government.Christopher Pyne, the minister and his government have slashed funds and asked that student wears the costs associated with developing themselves. This ethos is flawed. The better educated our population is the more taxes they will provide governments. To inhibit education through HECS debt restricts personal development to those that can afford it.

I'd like to encourage students to aspire to greatness. They will develop the skills to create new businesses & new revenue streams for employers.Ultimately a return on government investment through tax revenue.

With an aging population, education is critical for those in the workforce. If we fail in this area today we will most certainly pay for it later.Particularly with what is happening with manufacturing in Australia. If we are not going to focus on manufacturing. We need to develop new ways to keep our population productive. This will not just happen by accident. It will require investment in education.

I hope our government wakes up that their policies aren't in the nation's interests. They don't appear to get it at the moment. They appear hell bent on cutting funds to key areas without thought of consequence.

One area where I believe the nation can save an incredible amount of waste is political advertising.Politicians of bygone eras have been able to sell themselves through media appearances and campaigns. Now they rely on marketing and advertising costing 100's of millions of dollars every year.Great for the Owners of media not great for the taxpayer.
 Dear Mr Dreyfus
http://tonymagrathea.blogspot.com.au/2014/09/the-blog-that-doesnt-open-about-abbott.html

Evidence that supports Mr Abbott is hiding something. Enabling him to live the lie,at the expense of political probity. Please do something. If you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem. This information will be posted on my blog and attached to Washington Post  and #auspol as it's in the public interest to know what their political representatives think and how they act.

Email to shadow attorney general Mark Dreyfus re s44 breach

Dear Mr Dreyfus,
I would like to formally request that Tony Abbott be compelled to show he is in compliance with s44 of Australian constitution. Both myself and Tony Magrathea have been blocked from obtaining documents under FOI .We have also both submitted requests for Mr Brandis to investigate that have to date fallen on deaf ears. The behavior of Tony Abbott lends credibility to our belief that Mr Abbott had not renounced his UK citizenship prior to running for office in 1994. This would be easy for him to prove by supplying the documents. I have on more than 1 occasion heard rumor that he was still traveling on a UK passport well after his election to parliament. If Mr Abbott is not in compliance with the constitution he is probably the greatest fraud in global history.

I find it bewildering that this issue has been so difficult to get attention it deserves. Our Constitution is the foundation of our parliament.Mr Brandis has put his friendship ahead of his duty as Federal Attorney General. I wouldn't be surprised if the matter is investigated that Mr Abbott's P/A was involved in interference of the 2 FOI requests.
                                                                                                                                          regards Mark Dickenson

The illusion of freedom

We take for granted many things in Australia. We are insulated by distance from many of the worlds huge issues. Freedom is something we should both revere and seek. The reality of our lives is that we are born with one chance.Wars have been fought, diggers have bled and many have died fighting for and defending our freedom & the Australian way of life.

The reality of a society based on capitalistic pursuits is driven by the existence of servitude. The haves drive the have nots to produce more to increase their lot.Governments local State and Federal make it difficult to progress by taxing us heavily. Rates, fines for parking, fines for speeding, taxes for driving, fees for driving on roads.Registration fees, tariffs on, fuel fees for education and many many more but I think you get the gist of the mindset. These taxes serve two purposes, one to generate more revenue for governments. The other more sinister is to keep the status quo. They don't want the plebs breaking through to the rarified air enjoyed by the aristocracy.

I often ponder what existence would truly be like without government. What freedom truly looks like.Just removing oneself from the treadmill of life is whilst difficult to sustain holds great appeal.

To me freedom is being able to wake up in the morning and choose your own path, free of servitude and the associated constraints that come with it.

Our government has crossed a line by attacking freedom under the guise of National security. It is not their decision to make decisions about what we can say feel or think. People that died defending our rights have been disrespected by our parliament,as have all of us. The lust to control us.The hunger for power is what drives these draconian laws, not fear of terror. Just another lie served up to erode the  rights of all Australians.

Washington Post regards PM s44 breach

Hello,
I am a blogger from Australia. Myself and another guy have researched the background and history of the Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott. We suspect that Mr Abbott failed to renounce his UK citizenship prior to entering politics in 1994.This is a breach of s44 of the Australian Constitution if true.It is also fraudulent to provide misleading information on an application form. Two separate FOI requests have been met with interference, and have been blocked. Mr Abbott has verbally refuted these allegations but refuses to produce documentation to prove he complied with the law. The Attorney general has been asked in writing to look into this matter, instead he has buried the issue. He has a long friendship with Mr Abbott ,which appears to be influencing his duty to ensure the lawful integrity of our parliament. I have information I can supply to show that the story is genuine. The Australian media is predominantly controlled by a few wealthy people with LNP affiliations. The story has a following in Social media. There is also a campaign for signatures on Change.

Message To Federal Attorney General

Mr Brandis,

I am writing to you to seek answers as to why our PM appears to be above the law? It is my understanding that you have received correspondence from Tony Magrathea that is supported by evidence, in relation to Tony, Abbotts alleged breach of s44 of the Australian Constitution. Two separate FOI requests have been blocked through the interference of third parties.I have seen the documentation and have noted Mr Abbott's reaction to questions regarding his renouncement. As the Attorney General, you have a duty to ensure that our laws are respected and compliance assured.Your obvious friendship with Mr Abbott can have no bearing on this matter.

I give you notice that I am attaching this correspondence to my blog and forwarding it to every major news outlet both in our Nation and abroad. This could and should have been a simple matter.Mr. Abbott's failure to provide documents showing his renunciation prior to 1994. Also, your office's failure to ensure our great nation's Constitution has been complied with has forced us to escalate the issue to the public domain in the public's interest.

I also intend to run for a position as a Senator in the next Federal election. One major reason for this is the lack of probity that is currently on show in politics in Australia. Politicians rorting, misappropriating allowances and doing clandestine deals with donors. I hope that someone in your office would find these things abhorrent. It may be wishful thinking but I would hope that you would be taking steps to stamp these behaviours out.I know it will be a focus of mine if I make it to Canberra.

                         regards Mark Dickenson

Appraisal 1 Tony Abbott

This should be fun. Tony Abbott was elected Prime Minister just over 12 months ago. In this time he has selected a Ministry that appears to be out of its depth. They are not able to manage their individual portfolios, which ultimately is Tonys responsibility.

Tony has alienated the electorate by cutting funding to almost all areas.By not delivering on election promises. He has also been caught on many occasions lying to  voters. He has unhealthy relationships with the top end of town.He misuses his authority to try and settle political scores at great expense to taxpayers.

Dishonesty means that his credibility is shot. He denies he is in breach of the constitution s44. He says he followed protocols when entering politics. Yet all evidence suggests he is not and did not. I base this on his blatant refusal to produce documents. His history of lies. The interference of his P\A in FOI requests . The refusal of the Attorney General to respond to emails pleading with him to investigate the matter, points to a coverup.

Tony Abbott has scored an F for his first year. He has spent more time trying to be relevant on a global scale at the expense of domestic affairs. His policies have targeted  the elderly, sick, education ,science and many other areas. All have less money yet we have record taxes. He wants to sell off assets to pay for his economic mismanagement. Our political history says we can support infrastructure with the taxes we pay,yet Tony and his ministry don't have the talent to deliver this.

Finding their feet Liverpool need to mesh fast.

Liverpool coming off a strong showing last season are off to a sluggish start. They have bolstered their list in the off season and look to have the artillery to contend. At the moment they appear to be playing with two left feet. I don't believe this is due to anything malicious. I don't believe the playing group is satisfied with its lot. I just think they haven't all committed to each other. They don't know the idiosyncrasies of their teammates. This will come with hard work that I'm sure Brendan Rogers is applying to his team.

I still believe Liverpool is going to contend this season. If they manage to regroup and get the points against Everton it's not out the question that they win 5 in a row and get themselves in the mix for silverware. We haven't seen the upside from the talent influx I can't wait to witness the damage Balotelli will cause when they start to deliver a more regular supply into the box.

Freya Newman whistleblower or political target.

Australia should be grateful that Freya Newman spoke out and sought the truth. In doing so she has gone from whistleblower to a political target. She like many of us thought it bizarre that the White House chose the daughter of the Prime Minister of Australia to award a scholarship. The first of its specific type in 25 years. They would have us believe it is a "Deirdre Chambers" coincidence. If we had a mathematician do the probabilities it's more likely that everyone that reads this post wins Tattslotto than this being anything other than a coordinated gift. Not the PMs daughters fault. Definitely not Freyas fault.

Placed in Freyas position its understandable her desire to uncover what she believes a rort and the pursuit of truth collided with her ability to access said documents. We like Freya want to live in a world where our political representatives have regard for probity. Ethics empathy and ability to deliver good outcomes, all desirable traits.

The reality is we are served anything but this. Politicians misusing allowances  accepting gifts taking holidays and doing clandestine deals with political donors. All abhorrent practices. That must boil the blood of voters working hard to provide the very taxes they are rorting.

Freya Newman should be and is a hero for speaking up. For highlighting this dubious activity. If she's imprisoned she's Australia's first political prisoner,on home soil. How low will the current regime that oversees Australia's affairs go.

Animal protection "dolphins".

I found myself in an argument with some passionate dolphin campaigners,I got involved because I care about dolphins and their habitat. The campaigners were tearing strips off a public figure because she swam with captive dolphins. The campaigners were being rude to someone who had helped their cause in the past. Not only were they damaging their own brand they damaged their causes as well. Had they been prudent they could have explained why they didn't agree with dolphins in captivity.Had they sold it properly they could have had a public advocate for their cause. Instead they alienated her and myself through abuse.

Dolphins are treated abhorrently in Japan. Dolphin's in captivity are interesting.Places like sea world  and large public aquariums do keep dolphins. Some dolphins are taken in and repatriated after injuring themselves in the wild. The injured wild dolphins can once recovered go back into the wild. Dolphins born in captivity have no chance surviving the wild if introduced to it.

My position would be that these parks should be allowed to continue. They provide education to other humans about dolphins and other wildlife. They care for the animals. The reality is if they close the facilities these animals would be euthanized. The injured animals wouldn't be able to be repatriated so they would die in the wild.

I know from my experience the other day that fanatics will go feral rant and rave at my position. Tough luck, having said that if I was given information that supported a change in my position I would certainly take it on board, particularly if the advice is from a qualified person.

The practice in Japan of herding wild dolphins into a cove and slaughtering them with clubs and machetes is abhorrent to me as I'm sure it is to most people that has a love of animals.I hope the governments of the world and other bodies that have leverage get stuck into the Japanese government to outlaw this practice. If I am successful and win a place on the Senate I will personally engage the Japanese government & try to get them to outlaw the slaughter of Marine wild life in this fahion.

Abbott must face music over missing RN

The Australian constitution must be respected. It is the foundation of our nation. This issue has nothing to do with Tony Abbotts origin. It has everything to do with respect, of our nation and its foundations. If Tony Abbott has made false declarations and breached section 44.It is not only fraud, it is a slap in the face for of all those that have toiled, fought and bled in the formative years of our nation.

Every politician swears allegiance to the constitution. If we cannot or do not enforce this.We are accepting that those who represent us, have no requirement, to be honest.Nor do they have a requirement to act in our interests. I believe political probity is at stake. Probity must be enforced in parliament, it's erosion has led to the corruption we have today.

Tony Abbott can easily put this issue to bed by producing documentation of his renouncement of UK citizenship. The obstruction from access to this document supports the belief that he either hasn't or did it when he realized he was going to be caught, not when he had to by law in 1994.

Hands Off Education

Those of you that follow my blogs know I have nothing positive to say about our current Government. My natural tendency politically has always been slightly left of centre. This governments take on education really worries me.

The reduction of funding across the board leads to bigger classes less one on one time with students, greater stress for teachers and ultimately poorer outcomes for all. For over 100 years governments have been able to fund every thing. With taxes at an all time high, resources should easily be able to fund community requirements.

Yet in all areas the funds are being cut. Not only is this short sighted it's dangerous. People wanting tertiary educations are being asked to go into hock, some almost $100,000 to get their degree and start to earn, if they gain employment. Where is all the money going? The very politicians that are inflicting this debt enjoyed free tertiary educations in most cases. This is wrong. We need to encourage our talented people to get top educations ,which will land them top jobs and the taxes they pay will off set the costs of their educations. Education should not ever be a burden.

To all the students and Universities that are being forced to compete for funding. I intend to be a stern advocate for government funded education. Our politicians seem to just throw their hands in the air and walk away from fires they've lit.The pie has never been bigger.Government need to manage its resources better. They throw money away hand over fist on advertising. Election campaigning.Personal staffing. Inefficient public service. Overseas junkets they call "fact finding missions " They need to cut the rhetoric and start delivering what they are paid for.Or get the hell out of the way for someone with the desire and nouse to deliver what's required.

The real agenda

The real agenda. In Australia it is often squirreled away, which highlights the necessity for change. The recent events in #icac highlight the clandestine nature of political association to donors.Whilst it is clear the relationship is real. It's often buried from the public eye. Through staged businesses and poor media coverage due to the control of Australian media by yes another donor Rupert Murdoch.

Big business controls the political agenda in Australia.Policy is driven by these interests. Politician's appear to be beholden which leads to favorable legislation. There is no transparency as reporters are not driven by the story, their main focus is self preservation.Any one with the guts to take on the establishment and write "what is" discovers the joys of ostracism.

The recent slashing of resources the ABC has supports this theory. The media mogul doesn't want the truth distracting from the Abbott agenda.Nor do the mining magnates who drain the nations resources.

The minions are of little consequence.Sure they are required. They support the house of cards. Politicians moguls and political benefactors retiring to the gravy train live in oblivious bliss.

Time to try and make a difference. My Name is Mark Dickenson

I've had a lot of diverse experience, through education, employment, being a father, being a father to an autistic child, and now becoming a grandfather. I've enjoyed everything I've experienced. I still believe I have unfinished business.

Dylan my youngest is 18 he has autism. I have learned a lot through his development and that of his mates. We must invest heavily as early as we can to get the best outcomes for these children. The better the outcome the less reliant they will be on welfare in later years. I'd like to see teachers in this field be able to travel and learn from best practices around the world. Not only for autism for all disabilities.

I've decided the best way I can make a difference is to stand for the Senate. Hopefully, this would give me a platform to fight for the things that I'm passionate about.I want my political career to be based on honesty. I want to be able to provide a voice to the minorities that aren't getting a fair go. Whilst I can only be elected by Victorians I don't want to limit my concern to just Victorian issues. I want to make it a point to be accessible. I am aware that the influence I can have as a Senator is impacted by the balance in the Senate seats. Even in the worst case.I will commit that I will fight to be heard both in parliament and in the media. To put issues that are being neglected by the government on the agenda.

These are some of the other issues I'm passionate about. Aged Care, cystic fibrosis, Aboriginal &Torres strait islanders, dementia, environment conservation, Renewable energy, animal welfare, Asylum seekers, bullying & education in no particular order.

Whilst I may not have the answers to every problem fore-mentioned I will work hard to seek the talent required to address or improve the outcomes in these areas. Those of you that follow me on twitter and Facebook know that I don't hold back when I think a politician is wrong. I intend to take that trait with me to Canberra and challenge what I perceive as apathetic complacent gravy train loving politicians.

So if you're in Victoria and you like my ideas please think of giving me a go when the next election comes along. You can even support by sharing the story with friends. Thanks for reading.

The 20 year deception.

It is a prerequisite when one enters the federal political arena that you must be eligible. You must meet all the requirements as a matter of course. The Australian electoral commission is not an investigative body. Providing false or misleading information on your application is equivalent to signing a false statutory declaration.

Tony Abbott was born a UK citizen. He came to Australia young and became an Australian citizen. Part of the criteria for entry into federal politics is that Mr Abbott renounced his UK citizen status. Several years ago I heard that Tony Abbott was travelling with a UK Passport, It was a rumour nothing more. He did return to the UK for the purposes of study back in the 80's.Between then and 1995 Tony Abbott must have renounced his citizenship of the UK or his entire political career is premised on a lie.

If Tony Abbott has done this. It is the greatest fraud in global history. He must prove he is not in breach of s44. The media must force him to answer the questions for the integrity of politics and political reporting. Murdoch must put relationships aside and allow this to happen. I hope for the sake of political integrity this happens.

I suspect it will be avoided at all costs. We must keep the pressure on social media make it uncomfortable for them to cover up the issue. Two separate attempts to solve this have been blocked one in the UK and one in Australia. Smells like a conspiracy.

What is the true danger?

The liberal party in a desperate attempt to claw back credibility has to hang it's collective hat on a terrorist threat. They have upgraded the security alert to the highest level. They have no other avenue to escape the wrath of the people the have failed. The terrorist risk that exists if it exists is theirs. They have sat idly by and allowed people to go overseas fight under a foreign flag of some description. They have effectively funded it by paying these vagabonds the dole while completing their mission. Then when they decided to return they've not seized passports. They haven't refused entry. They've welcomed them home.

Lets face it the Liberals are hemorrhaging profusely. They have been in charge for just over twelve months and nearly every minister is adding to the bleeding. The targets of most of the policy is the battler. The sick the aged the invalid the disabled. That's never going to be embraced in Australia. Our Psyche is support the underdog. We don't pound people when they're down. If we've strayed away from that we need to revisit it.

The Liberal Party want to divert our eyes from the pain they're causing. Abbott's being Abbott and fumbling his way through announcement after announcement . He appears not to know whats coming from his mouth until it's delivered. Faux pas standard practice like his insult too the Scottish. His fighting words to Putin. Perhaps he is calculating and needs these to distract from the failed budget. As an observer I don't subscribe to this theory. I just think the man is bereft of talent surrounded by sycophants.

To me the country needs reform. It needs to stop the relationships that aren't talked about from driving policy. The NSW State parliament is being cleansed of corruption by ICAC which should be used as a template for other states. It should also be applied to Federal Parliament, sooner rather than later. The relationships that appear to exist between the federal Liberal party and the top end of town ,especially miners must be a priority. They cannot be allowed to continue to rape the countries resources without paying for the privilege. If the way they have gone about securing the deals they have done is fair and legal we have to wear it. If it is not the authorities should seize assets that have been procured through illegal clandestine activity.

Suns contemplate move on Thompson

The failure of Gold Coast Suns to capitalize on a fantastic start to their season. The availability of Mark Thompson for senior coach role opens the door to an alternate future. Have they sounded out Thompson? Can they sack McKenna when the side clearly has progressed this season?

The Suns season was almost the polar opposite of Richmond s. Great early, appearing almost certain finalists.Falling away dramatically when the captain Gary Ablett injured his shoulder.Gary's season was ended early requiring surgery. This enabled teams opposing the Suns to focus attention on other players usually afforded Ablett. They were unable to find a way to overcome this in the closing part of the year. Proving an unhealthy reliance on their superstar.

This is an unconfirmed rumor the Club has not confirmed. In the AFL where there's smoke there's fire.

Mario Balotelli

Liverpool fans should rejoice Mario Balotelli has talent to burn. He is maturing and with that should come his best football. He is unpredictable, embrace it, because that is the intangible thing that makes it difficult to defend. As a fan myself,I find reason to raise the bar of expectation this season. Liverpool has developed a fine squad of players. Balotelli in my opinion is the reckless abandon and dare, that could deliver Liverpool from good side to a great side. Dangerous in the air and on the ground, in the box and outside it, Balotelli is the X factor.

Enjoy the ride. I know I will. Just wish I wasn't across the world in Australia, so I could embrace the atmosphere that you wonderful people add too any fixture.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BwOxf2CIgU
